9 Best Search Atlas Alternatives in 2026 for Agencies and In-House Teams

The nine Search Atlas alternatives worth looking at are Amadora AI, SE Ranking, AthenaHQ, Rankability, Surfer SEO, Semrush, Clearscope, Ahrefs Brand Radar and Search Atlas itself. Search Atlas is the only tool here whose agent applies on-page and technical fixes to a live site on its own, and OTTO earns the reputation it has. The AI half is what stalls an evaluation: Starter at $99 carries no LLM visibility at all, Growth at $199 tracks 100 queries, and Pro at $399 tracks the same 100 — so the allowance deciding how much of a brand you can see costs twice as much and does not move.

All nine, side by side

Nine tools on the five things that decide a Search Atlas evaluation: entry price, engines included at that price, brands and seats, how far each carries the work, and whether it sees Google at all. The engines column is where the gap between an advertised platform and its entry tier shows up, and the execution column says where a tool stops between measuring a problem and proving it was fixed.

Scroll the table sideways

Prices are monthly list, read off each vendor's own pricing page on 24 September 2026 with the billing toggle set to monthly. Amadora AI is our product.

Why teams leave Search Atlas

Teams leave Search Atlas for two reasons, and OTTO is not either of them. The first is where AI visibility sits in the price list. Starter at $99 a month carries none of it — zero LLM visibility projects and zero queries — so the real entry price for the thing most buyers arrive wanting is Growth at $199. That tier tracks 100 queries across ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Mode. Pro at $399 adds Copilot and Perplexity and doubles the projects to four, and tracks the same 100 queries. The number deciding how much of a brand you can see is identical on a plan costing twice as much, and moves only at the $999 Agency tier, to 250. For an agency the arithmetic lands quickly: 100 queries across Pro’s four projects is 25 prompts a client.

The second reason is the report. Search Atlas tracks Google properly — a full SEO suite with a rank tracker, Search Console and GA4 wired in. But Report Builder, the product turning that into something a client reads, lists its modules as rank tracking, GA4, Search Console, Google Business Profile, backlinks, local visibility and content performance. LLM Visibility is not one of them. The AI number lives on its own screen, and whoever writes the monthly report joins the two by hand.

How we compared

Every price here was read off the vendor’s own pricing page between 22 and 24 September 2026, in a browser, with the billing toggle set to monthly. That detail matters: most pricing pages in this category load with the annual discount already applied, and Search Atlas is one of them — its page opens on “Annual — Save 20%” and shows $79 where the monthly list is $99. Engine coverage, seats, project limits and trial terms come from the same tables.

Amadora AI is our product and it ranks first here. Its entry follows the same shape as every other one, limitations included, and each competitor links to its own site so the figures can be checked. A wider set of tools sits in our roundup of the top LLM monitoring tools.

The nine alternatives, ranked

Ranked for the buyer currently evaluating Search Atlas: a team that wants AI visibility it can act on, usually with Google reporting beside it, and often across more than one brand. Execution weighs heavily, but so does how much of a brand the prompt allowance actually covers.

01

Amadora AI — Best for agencies that need AI visibility across more than one or two brands, with the work produced, published and proved.

Our productRung 7 of 7From $59/moUnlimited brands from $179Google SEO included

Amadora AI runs a brand’s prompts daily against the live ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini interfaces rather than APIs, and names the competitor owning the sources each answer trusted. It produces the work that closes the gap — white-labelled audits, briefs, drafts, landing pages — and ships approved changes into the CMS. Search Console connects, so the ranking and the AI answer arrive in one report.

Amadora.ai homepage
Amadora AI leads on finding why a client is not cited, then shipping the fix.
Key features
  • Unlimited brands and seats from $179/mo, so a roster does not meter the plan.
  • Publishes to WordPress and Webflow directly, other platforms via plugin, API and MCP.
  • Agents repair internal links and apply on-page changes and schema, approval-gated and reversible.
  • Search Console connects, putting rankings and AI answers in one week-over-week view.
Pricing

Three tiers on Amadora AI’s pricing page. Starter $59/mo: 15 prompts, one brand, 300 credits. Professional $179/mo: 100 prompts, unlimited brands and seats, 1,000 credits. Agency $499/mo adds white-label, workspaces and API on 3,000 credits.

Limitations
  • Three engines on base plans, with five more at $9/mo each; Search Atlas includes five.
  • Nothing like OTTO’s breadth of automated fixes, and no link building or local citation tooling.

Best for agencies and in-house teams whose AI visibility work spans more than one or two brands, and who are measured on published work rather than dashboards. Not the right call if you want one platform covering backlinks, local citations and paid media.

02

Search Atlas — Best for teams that want on-page and technical SEO fixes applied to a live site without a developer in the loop.

Rung 6 of 7From $99/moAI visibility from $199Google SEO yes

Search Atlas is the closest structural competitor to us on this page, and the reason is OTTO. Its own documentation says it “ships every change straight to your live site through Cloudflare, your CMS, or your code pipeline” — titles, schema, canonical URLs, broken links, headings, alt text and internal links, applied rather than recommended, with an approval mode for teams that want to sign off first. Around it sits a large SEO suite.

Search Atlas homepage
Search Atlas sells the whole loop: run the marketing, then fix what breaks overnight.
Key features
  • OTTO applies technical and on-page fixes to the live site, with approval mode and rollback.
  • Rank tracking, Search Console, GA4 and Google Business Profile in one platform.
  • Link building, press release distribution, local citations and paid media all included.
Pricing

Starter $99/mo, Growth $199, Pro $399, Agency from $999, billed monthly; annual billing is 20% less at $79, $159 and $319. Projects and OTTO sites run 1/2/4/10 and seats 1/3/5/10. Seven-day trial with an onboarding call.

Limitations
  • No AI visibility on Starter — zero projects and zero queries until Growth at $199.
  • 100 LLM visibility queries on both Growth and Pro, so $399 buys engines and projects, not coverage.
  • Its LLM Visibility page advertises Claude, which no tier on the pricing page sells.

Best for teams that want SEO work applied to a live site without a developer, and treat AI visibility as one report among many. Not for anyone whose main job is AI visibility across several brands, where the query cap binds first.

03

SE Ranking — Best for agencies reporting Google and AI across ten client projects on the smallest bill here.

Rung 5 of 7From $129/mo10 projectsGoogle SEO yes

SE Ranking answers much the same brief Search Atlas does, for less money and with less automation: rank tracking, site audit and AI visibility from one login, with AI tracking inside the base Core plan rather than a tier above it. Ten projects on the entry plan make it the cheapest per-client option here, and we cover it in full on our SE Ranking alternatives page.

SE Ranking homepage
SE Ranking sells SEO, GEO and social in one cross-channel view.
Key features
  • Ten projects on Core and thirty on Growth, so a client roster fits without an enterprise quote.
  • ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, AI Overviews and AI Mode tracked from Core, with sentiment.
  • Content Editor briefs, AI Writer drafts, and the WordPress integration publishes them live.
Pricing

Core $129/mo, or $103.20 billed annually, with one manager seat and ten projects. Growth $279/mo, or $223.20 annually, with three seats and thirty projects. The $69/mo Agency Pack adds client seats and white-label reporting, annual billing only.

Limitations
  • Client seats and the API exist only as annual-billing add-ons, so a monthly team cannot buy them.
  • Citation and source analysis is thin next to the GEO-native tools here.
  • One manager seat at Core, and nothing is applied to the site itself.

Best for an agency reporting Google and AI across a long client list on the smallest possible bill, accepting a shallower read on why answers land where they do. Not for a monthly-billing team that needs client logins, or anyone expecting fixes to be applied.

04

AthenaHQ — Best for in-house teams on one flagship brand that want the widest engine coverage on this page.

Rung 5 of 7From $295/moUnlimited seatsGoogle SEO partial

AthenaHQ covers more engines at its entry tier than anything else here — ten, including Claude, Grok, DeepSeek and Meta AI, where Search Atlas reaches five at $399. Its Content Hub publishes articles into six content systems with draft-or-live status chosen at publish time, and seats are unlimited with role-based access control on every plan.

AthenaHQ homepage
AthenaHQ leads on agents that see, act and win on AI search.
Key features
  • Ten engines on the $295 Starter, the widest coverage on this page by some distance.
  • Publishes into Shopify, Webflow, Wix, Framer, WordPress and Payload, updating posts in place.
  • Unlimited seats with role-based access control, on every tier including the free one.
Pricing

Free Essential tier with 300 credits and $25 of free credit; Starter $295/mo off the plans page’s own monthly toggle. An “Annual (17% off)” toggle exists, but the discounted figure is computed in the browser and printed nowhere. The subscription attaches to a website, so a second brand is a second subscription.

Limitations
  • Priced per website, so multi-brand work multiplies the bill rather than the plan.
  • Search Console gives clicks and impressions but no ranking position, so Google is half-covered.
  • No site-wide on-page, internal-link or schema repair — it publishes, it does not fix.

Best for an in-house team on one flagship brand wanting the broadest engine coverage and drafts that reach the CMS. Not for an agency: the per-website subscription is the same trap as Search Atlas’s project count, priced higher.

05

Rankability — Best for agencies willing to sit through a demo to get a content workflow that reaches the CMS.

Rung 5 of 7No published priceUnlimited seatsGoogle SEO yes

Rankability is the one tool here with no price to quote. Its pricing page now redirects to a demo request form, and the last published ladder — archived in early September 2026 at $99, $199 and $399 — is gone from its own sitemap. What it does is well documented: its copywriter publishes to WordPress and Webflow, or commits an article as a pull request.

Rankability homepage
Rankability sells AI search analytics to agencies, and now prices plans on a call.
Key features
  • Publishes to WordPress and Webflow, or opens a GitHub pull request with the article as Markdown.
  • Unlimited seats on every tier, which few tools on this page match.
  • Engine coverage widens by tier from ChatGPT, Google AI Mode and Claude.
Pricing

No public price. rankability.com/pricing/ 301-redirects to an agency demo form, and the help centre documents plan allowances without printing a figure, noting only that the Agency plan is no longer sold. The last archived ladder was Starter $99, Core $199 and Team $399 monthly — a historical record, not a quote.

Limitations
  • Nothing is priced publicly, so a shortlist cannot include it without a sales call.
  • Platform coverage is gated by tier, and the tiers no longer carry figures.
  • No executed on-page, internal-link or schema repair, so it stops where Search Atlas continues.

Best for an agency happy to take a demo, wanting unlimited seats and a content workflow that reaches the CMS through a pull request as readily as a plugin. Not for anyone comparing on price, because there is not one.

06

Surfer SEO — Best for content teams optimising drafts for Google that want an AI visibility read in the same login.

Rung 4 of 7From $59/moAI tracking from $119Google SEO yes

Surfer SEO is a content optimisation tool that added an AI module, and the split still shows. Its editor scores a draft for term coverage against what currently ranks on Google, and its AI Search Analytics module tracks prompts separately. The two are useful and not joined: the editor does not optimise for the engines the module measures.

Surfer SEO homepage
Surfer leads on being the answer in Google, and everywhere buyers search.
Key features
  • The most established content editor here, with live scoring as a writer types.
  • One-click Content Optimization and Internal Linking act on a Surfer document.
  • AI Search Analytics tracks up to five engines on Pro, or as a $95/mo standalone.
Pricing

Discovery $59/mo, Standard $119, Pro $219, Peace of Mind $359, Enterprise $999, billed monthly; yearly billing is about 17% less on each. AI tracking starts on Standard at $119 — Discovery has none. Standalone AI Search Analytics is $95/mo, or $82 yearly, for 50 daily prompts.

Limitations
  • No AI tracking on the $59 entry tier, and five engines only at $219.
  • The editor optimises a document inside Surfer; nothing reaches the live site.
  • One seat and one workspace at entry, so client work needs a higher tier.

Best for a content team that writes for Google first and wants an AI visibility read in the same login. Not for a team buying AI visibility as the main job, where the module is thinner than the editor beside it.

07

Semrush — Best for teams that want the deepest keyword and backlink research with an AI visibility number beside it.

Rung 3 of 7From $199/mo1 domain for AIGoogle SEO yes

Semrush is the research suite Search Atlas positions itself against, and on data depth it wins: nothing here matches its keyword and backlink index. Its AI tracking sits in the same platform, and it is reporting rather than execution — it tells you where you stand and leaves the work with you. We compare it directly on our Semrush alternatives page.

Semrush homepage
Semrush, now an Adobe company, sells visibility across every channel.
Key features
  • The deepest keyword and backlink research on this page, by a wide margin.
  • AI visibility tracking across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot and Google surfaces.
  • 50 prompts tracked daily on Starter, 100 on Pro+ and 200 on Advanced.
Pricing

SEO $139/mo, Starter $199, Pro+ $299, Advanced $549, billed monthly, with roughly 17% off annually. The $139 SEO tier lists AI tracking rows as exclusions, not inclusions, so Starter is the first plan with AI visibility. Extra users start at $45/mo.

Limitations
  • One domain for AI brand performance at the entry tier, and every extra seat is charged.
  • Nothing is produced or published — it reports and plans, and stops there.
  • The cheapest tier’s feature list reads as though it includes AI tracking when it excludes it.

Best for a team that wants research depth first and treats the AI number as one more report in a suite it already pays for. Not for anyone who came for execution, which is the entire reason to look at Search Atlas.

08

Clearscope — Best for editorial teams that grade drafts for topic coverage and want prompt tracking in the same login.

Rung 4 of 7From $129/moUnlimited seatsGoogle SEO yes

Clearscope grades content for topic coverage and does it as well as anything on this page, with unlimited seats and projects on a $129 plan — terms no other tool here matches at that price. Its prompt tracking is the newer half, and its own pages disagree about how much of it there is.

Clearscope homepage
Clearscope puts ChatGPT beside Google in the headline; its pages disagree on engines.
Key features
  • Unlimited users and unlimited projects on every paid tier, including the $129 Essentials.
  • Content Inventory reads Search Console, flags decaying pages and recommends internal links.
  • Draft with AI builds outlines and full drafts from a SERP analysis.
Pricing

Essentials $129/mo and Business $399/mo, monthly only — there is no annual toggle and no published yearly rate. Essentials includes 50 tracked prompts, 50 Content Inventory pages and 20 drafts a month. A 14-day trial covers both paid tiers.

Limitations
  • Its pricing page says prompt tracking covers ChatGPT and Gemini; its product pages add Claude.
  • 50 tracked prompts on Essentials is the real ceiling, and it is reached quickly.
  • Recommendations load into an editor; nothing is applied to a live site.

Best for an editorial team that grades drafts for coverage and wants unlimited seats without per-user maths. Not for anyone whose central question is AI visibility, where two or three engines and 50 prompts is a narrow window.

09

Ahrefs Brand Radar — Best for SEO teams already on Ahrefs that want AI share of voice beside links and rankings.

Rung 2 of 7From $129/mo1 user includedGoogle SEO yes

Ahrefs Brand Radar is the cheapest way onto this list for a team already paying for Ahrefs, and the most limited. It measures share of voice across six AI surfaces against a corpus of 451M+ organic prompts, shows which pages got cited, and stops there. No recommendations, no content, nothing published.

Ahrefs homepage
Brand Radar sits inside the wider Ahrefs platform, not beside it.
Key features
  • Share of voice across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot, AI Overviews and AI Mode.
  • A 451M+ prompt corpus for researching any brand, not only your own.
  • Included in the main plans rather than sold as a separate subscription.
Pricing

Lite $129/mo, Standard $249, Advanced $449, Enterprise $1,499 on annual commitment, with tracked AI prompts at 5, 10 and 20 by tier. Standalone Brand Radar starts at $199/mo. Extra users run $40 to $100/mo, and prices are geo-served.

Limitations
  • Five tracked AI prompts on the $129 Lite plan, which is a sample rather than a programme.
  • One user per plan, with every additional seat charged on top.
  • It measures and diagnoses; it will not tell you what to change or change it.

Best for an SEO team already on Ahrefs that wants AI share of voice beside links and rankings at no new vendor cost. Not for anyone who needs the tool to explain a gap or close it.

Best by job

Running AI visibility across several client brands

Amadora AI. Unlimited brands and unlimited seats from $179/month, with white-label deliverables and consolidated billing. Every per-project, per-website and per-domain tool here becomes your largest software line somewhere around client four.

Getting SEO fixes applied without a developer

Search Atlas. OTTO is the most complete automated fix layer on this page, and nothing else here applies technical and on-page work to a live site at a published self-serve price. Plan for AI visibility to be metered separately from it.

Reporting Google and AI across a long client list cheaply

SE Ranking. Ten projects and daily prompt tracking at $129/month, with both halves of the report in one login. You give up citation depth and anything being applied for you.

When Search Atlas is still the right choice

  • You want on-page and technical fixes applied across a whole live site. OTTO’s breadth is real and we do not match it — we apply on-page work and schema, not link building, press distribution or local citations.
  • You need one platform to cover SEO, local, paid media and AI visibility on a single invoice. Buying four tools to replace it usually costs more than $199 a month.
  • You run Google Business Profile work at volume. GBP Galactic, with 3 to 100 GBP projects by tier, has no equivalent on this page, ours included.

The execution ladder

The execution ladder is seven steps from measuring an AI visibility problem to proving it was fixed: measure, diagnose, plan, produce, publish, fix, prove. Engine counts and prompt limits miss the thing it captures, which is how much work lands back on your team. Every platform here climbs the same seven steps and each stops somewhere.

Scroll the table sideways

Rung placements reflect what each vendor documents publicly, read 24 September 2026. Search Atlas reaches rung 6 on OTTO's own documentation — it automates titles, schema, canonical URLs, broken and redirect links, headings, alt text and internal links, and ships them to the live site through Cloudflare, a CMS or a code pipeline, with an optional approval mode. It is held at 6 rather than 7 because Report Builder enumerates its modules as rank tracking, GA4, Search Console, Google Business Profile, backlinks, local visibility and content performance, and LLM Visibility is not among them.

Five of the nine reach rung 5 and put a finished page into a CMS, which makes this an unusually capable peer set — on most comparisons in this category the number is one or two. Search Atlas goes a step further, and rung 6 is the honest reason to buy it: OTTO repairs and applies, and the change lands on the site. The step it does not take is the last one. Eight of the nine report a Google position, so seeing both numbers is nearly universal; seeing them in one week-over-week report is not, and Amadora AI, of the nine here, is the tool that does.

Migrating off Search Atlas

Your prompt list and competitor set carry over in full — export to CSV or paste them in, and a fresh set can be generated from the brand’s site and competitors to compare against. Saved views get rebuilt in under an hour. Expect first data within twenty-four hours of adding a domain and a usable trend line at about two weeks. Because Search Atlas meters queries rather than brands, most teams arrive with a smaller prompt list than they would otherwise have written, so budget time to widen it.

The part that needs a plan is OTTO. Changes it applied through Cloudflare or a CMS integration are delivered by Search Atlas rather than written into your templates, so audit what is applied and reproduce what you want in your own CMS before the subscription lapses. Its Deep Freeze option exists because this is a known concern, and it is worth confirming what it covers on your plan before cancelling. Seven-day trials make a parallel run cheap.

Common questions

How much does Search Atlas cost?

Search Atlas is $99/month for Starter, $199 for Growth, $399 for Pro and from $999 for Agency, billed monthly (vendor pricing page, September 2026). Annual billing saves 20% at $79, $159 and $319 a month, and is the tab the page opens on. Starter includes no AI visibility at all.

Does Search Atlas include AI visibility on its cheapest plan?

No. Starter at $99/month carries zero LLM visibility projects and zero queries — the pricing page heads the section "AI visibility starts on Growth". Growth at $199 tracks 100 queries across ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Mode, and Pro at $399 adds Copilot and Perplexity while tracking the same 100 queries.

What is the best Search Atlas alternative for agencies?

Amadora AI, on prompt coverage per brand: 100 prompts with unlimited client brands and unlimited seats is $179/month, against $199 for 100 queries across two projects and three seats. SE Ranking is the cheaper option at $129/month for ten projects, if one manager seat is enough and shallower citation analysis is acceptable.

Which Search Atlas alternatives track Google rankings too?

Nearly all of them. Amadora AI, SE Ranking, Rankability, Surfer, Semrush, Clearscope and Ahrefs all report Google organic beside AI answers, and AthenaHQ reads Search Console for clicks without a position. The real distinction is not who sees Google, but who puts it in the same report as the AI number.

Does Search Atlas publish content to my CMS?

Yes, on every tier including the $99 Starter — the plan cards carry "Connect and publish to any CMS". OTTO also goes further than publishing: it applies technical and on-page fixes to the live site through Cloudflare, a CMS integration or a code pipeline, and an approval mode holds each change for review first.

Can I migrate off Search Atlas?

Your prompt list and competitor set carry over by CSV or paste, and take under an hour to rebuild. The part to plan for is OTTO: anything it applied lives in its delivery layer, so audit what is live and reapply it in your CMS before the account lapses. Historical visibility data does not transfer.
