The Rank Masters hit 780K Google AI search impressions in 90 days

The Rank Masters is a Lahore content and search agency that sells AI search visibility to B2B SaaS companies. Until March 2026 it measured its own with Search Console, GA4 and three to four hours a month of checking ChatGPT by hand. Since then it has tracked its site in Amadora AI on 64 buying-intent prompts across ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini. In the 90 days to 8 September 2026, its Search Console logged 780,609 impressions in Google’s AI Overviews and AI Mode. By Amadora AI’s count, its pages earned 6,831 AI citations, and 64.2% of them came from Gemini. ChatGPT, the engine it had been checking, supplied 15.4%.

Two founders selling AI visibility to SaaS

The Rank Masters writes B2B SaaS content with two jobs: rank in Google, and be the page an AI engine cites when a buyer asks it for a shortlist. The Lahore agency sells that work as AEO, GEO and LLM SEO programmes, mostly to SaaS companies that are founder-led or run on a small marketing team.

Two co-founders lead it. Waqas Arshad leads strategy, sales and growth; Faisal Irfan leads content, SEO and AI-visibility delivery. The person a client meets on the first call runs the programme afterwards.

Those clients are watching AI assistants take over the shortlist questions their buyers used to type into Google. What they buy is a claim: that visibility inside those answers can be measured, and then moved. The agency’s own site, therankmasters.com, publishes roundups and comparison pages in the software categories it covers.

Checking ChatGPT while Gemini did the citing

Until March 2026, The Rank Masters measured its own search presence with Google Search Console and GA4. Both were set up properly and both looked healthy. Neither could show whether an AI engine was citing the agency’s pages.

The team knew it was being cited, because it kept running into its own articles inside ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google’s AI Overviews. Confirming it meant checking by hand: about once a month, three to four hours in total, on whichever queries someone remembered that day.

For an agency selling measurable AI visibility, that was a credibility gap. Had a prospect asked The Rank Masters to prove its own citation position, the answer would have been screenshots and anecdotes.

The bigger cost only showed once there was data. Checking by hand had meant checking ChatGPT, because ChatGPT was the tool already open. Amadora AI’s tracking of therankmasters.com, over the 90 days to 8 September 2026, put the citations somewhere else:

  • Gemini: 64.2% of The Rank Masters’ AI citations, at a 32.6% visibility rate
  • ChatGPT: 15.4% of its citations, at an 8.2% visibility rate

Every hour of spot-checking had gone to the engine where The Rank Masters performed worst. Content decisions could no longer come from a monthly look at ChatGPT. They had to come from citation data, broken down by engine and by page.

64 buying prompts, reviewed every Monday

The Rank Masters has kept its own site, therankmasters.com, under continuous tracking in Amadora AI since 10 March 2026. The agency works from four views of that data: prompts, citations by URL, the search queries behind each answer, and brands and share of voice, which shows who else appears in those answers and in what order.

Buying questions only

The Rank Masters tracks shortlist questions, the ones a buyer asks when close to choosing, and leaves informational queries out of the set. It now holds 64 commercial-intent prompts across 15 topics, run on ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini, with 26 of them added in early September 2026. Google’s AI Overviews and AI Mode are read separately, in Search Console.

Prompts first, then pages

The Rank Masters’ Monday review takes about an hour and runs in two passes:

  • Prompts. Visibility rate and average mention position for every prompt, read for movement and for any new zero. The view is granular enough to act on: on the agency’s own set, a prompt qualified with an integration name reaches 28% visibility, while its generic equivalent reaches 5%.
  • Citations, URL by URL. Which of the agency’s pages gained or lost citations, and on which engine. When a page loses ground, the team looks at what displaced it before anyone touches the page.

The citation view is also how The Rank Masters learned how concentrated its citations are. In the 90 days to 8 September 2026, five URLs carried 52.4% of them and twenty carried 90.4%.

Articles shaped by the engines’ sub-queries

Amadora AI’s search queries view lists the sub-queries a model actually ran while composing an answer. For 15 of the tracked prompts, the engines ran 33 distinct sub-queries. The Rank Masters now structures an article to cover that fan-out inside a single page.

Content calls backed by citation data

At The Rank Masters, content calls that used to rest on intuition now rest on citation data: which cluster to deepen, which format to use, which category to stop publishing into. Each call is still the agency’s to make, and each one now comes with evidence.

From 6,831 citations to inbound SaaS enquiries

The Rank Masters closed its 90-day reporting window on 8 September 2026 with 780,609 impressions in Google’s AI Overviews and AI Mode, in its own Search Console. Over the same 90 days its pages earned 6,831 citations across ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini, in Amadora AI’s count. Behind those two numbers:

  • 76.1% more impressions in the second half of the window than in the first, in Search Console.
  • 89.5% coverage in Amadora AI of the 38 prompts tracked long enough to hold a stable sample, 34 of them, at an average mention position of 4.2. Across all 64, including the 26 added in September, coverage was 73.4%.
  • 3 to 4 live prospects in the agency’s pipeline that, by its own attribution, came directly from those earned citations.

By the agency’s account, the work took two to three months to produce anything commercial. Then SaaS tools in the categories it covers began approaching it directly. One opened by saying its own tracking, on the buying questions it monitors for its clients, had counted therankmasters.com cited 432 times in AI answers. A recent enquiry read: “I need help with GEO, want to see if you could set it up so Claude can handle it afterwards. I like to know my options to improve the GEO of our website.”

The agency publishes no revenue figure for the period; the pipeline is young. Its figures for the three AI engines describe the position it held on 8 September. And because every content decision in the window drew on the same data, none of them separates the software from the agency’s own work.

We had been checking ChatGPT by hand once a month and assuming that was our channel. Amadora AI showed us Gemini supplies 64% of our citations and ChatGPT 15%. We had been optimising for the wrong engine and had no way of knowing it.

Common questions

Can't The Rank Masters see its AI Overview impressions in Search Console?

It can, and The Rank Masters reads them there. Impressions from AI Overviews and AI Mode made up 17.31% of all its Search Console impressions in the 90 days to 8 September 2026. What Search Console cannot see is an answer from ChatGPT, Perplexity or Gemini, and those are the three engines the agency tracks in Amadora AI.

How did SaaS vendors find The Rank Masters?

Through the roundups they were being cited alongside. The Rank Masters traced the approaches back to AI search citations and to specific content clusters, and its AI visibility cluster produced more of them than any other. Every one of them reached out to the agency directly.

Does The Rank Masters' weekly review take longer than checking by hand?

About the same, or a little more, in hours. Checking by hand took three to four hours a month and covered a handful of queries on one engine. The review takes roughly an hour a week and covers 64 prompts on three. What the agency counts as the change is the coverage, and the content decisions that come out of it.

Why has The Rank Masters published no before-and-after figures for ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini?

Because nothing read those engines for the agency before 10 March 2026, so there is no measured baseline to compare against. The Rank Masters chose to publish the position it holds rather than an improvement it could not measure. The one before-and-after it supplied comes from Search Console, comparing the first half of the window with the second.
