9 Best AthenaHQ Alternatives in 2026 for Multi-Brand Marketing Teams

The nine AthenaHQ alternatives worth looking at are Amadora AI, Searchable, Profound, AIclicks, Peec AI, LLM Pulse, Goodie, Evertune and AthenaHQ itself. AthenaHQ tracks ten answer engines at $295 a month with unlimited seats, the widest self-serve coverage on this page, and its Content Hub publishes finished drafts straight into Shopify, Webflow, Wix, Framer, WordPress and Payload CMS. The friction is the unit it bills by. The subscription attaches to a website rather than to your organisation, so a second brand picks its own plan and pays $295 again, and every answer checked is metered against 3,600 credits with more sold as an add-on.

All nine, side by side

Nine tools on the five things that decide an AthenaHQ evaluation: entry price, engines included at that price, how many brands the price covers, how far each carries the work, and whether it sees Google at all. The brands column separates them — most of this category prices a second brand as a second subscription, and AthenaHQ is among them.

Prices come from each vendor's own pricing page, checked 28 August 2026. Amadora AI is our product.

Why teams leave AthenaHQ

Teams leave AthenaHQ over the shape of the bill rather than the product. The subscription attaches to a website: AthenaHQ’s own billing documentation describes a website with no active plan being shown the Free, Starter and Enterprise comparison so it can pick one. Unlimited seats are real, and they stop at the edge of that one website. A team with a flagship brand and two sub-brands is looking at $885 a month, and there is no published agency tier to soften it — the Agency Program at athenahq.ai/agencies is a booking form promising discounted licences, with no figure attached. Underneath the plan sits a credit meter where one credit is one AI response, and Starter’s 3,600 a month covers monitoring plus a moderate amount of Action Center output. Extra credits and API access are add-ons priced by email.

The second reason is what the platform cannot do to a site it has already published to. AthenaHQ writes an article into WordPress or Webflow and stops; the internal links, the broken pages and the schema that decide whether a page is quotable are left to whoever owns the CMS. Google is half-covered — Search Console feeds prompt discovery and puts clicks, impressions and CTR beside each Content Hub row, but there is no keyword position anywhere, so the rankings half of a report still comes from a second tool.

How we compared

We read every vendor’s own pricing page on 28 August 2026 for prices, seats and engine coverage, and each vendor’s product documentation for what the platform does with the work it generates. Where a claim decided a rung — whether a tool publishes, or only drafts — it came from integration or help documentation rather than a marketing page. Third-party roundups were not used as a source: two of the five pages ranking for this query still describe AthenaHQ as measurement-only, which its own documentation contradicts.

Amadora AI is our product and it ranks first here. Its entry follows the same shape as every other one, limitations included, and every tool name links to its own site so the figures can be checked. A wider set of tools sits in our roundup of the top LLM monitoring tools.

The nine alternatives, ranked

Ranked for the buyer currently evaluating AthenaHQ: an in-house marketing team with one brand that matters and a couple more behind it, and a report going to someone who still asks about Google.

01

Amadora AIBest for agencies and in-house teams running GEO across more than one brand that need the work published, repaired and proved on one bill.

Our productRung 7 of 7From $59/moUnlimited brands from $179Google SEO included

Amadora runs a brand’s prompts daily against the live ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini interfaces rather than through APIs, then names the competitor that owns the sources each answer trusted. It produces the work that closes the gap — audits, briefs, drafts, landing pages — ships approved changes into the CMS, then keeps working on the page: internal links repaired, on-page changes and schema applied, approval-gated and reversible. Search Console connects, so the AI number and the Google number arrive in the same report.

Amadora.ai homepage
Amadora leads on finding why a client is not cited, then shipping the fix.
Key features
  • Unlimited brands and seats from $179, with no per-website subscription.
  • Publishes to WordPress and Webflow directly, other platforms via plugin, API and MCP.
  • Agents repair internal links and apply on-page changes and schema after publishing.
  • White-label throughout, plus workspaces, consolidated billing and API on Agency.
Pricing

Three tiers on Amadora’s pricing page. Starter $59/mo: 15 prompts, one brand, 300 credits. Professional $179/mo: 100 prompts, unlimited brands and seats, 1,000 credits. Agency $499/mo adds white-label, workspaces and API on 3,000 credits. Credits price the deliverables — 200 an audit, 40 a draft, 20 a brief.

Limitations
  • Three engines on the base plans against AthenaHQ’s ten at $295, which we do not match at any tier.
  • No SOC 2 and no on-premise deployment, which ends some enterprise procurement outright.
  • Credits are consumed by deliverables, so a heavy content month needs a top-up.

Best for teams and agencies measured on published work across more than one brand, particularly anyone whose second brand made AthenaHQ’s per-website bill hard to justify. Not the right call if you need ten engines on one contract, or if procurement requires SOC 2.

02

AthenaHQBest for in-house teams on one flagship brand that want the widest engine coverage and drafts that reach the CMS.

Rung 5 of 7From $295/moUnlimited seats, one websiteGoogle SEO partial

AthenaHQ splits into Monitor, Insights and an Action Center, and the third part is what separates it from the trackers: a prioritised gap becomes an article draft, a citation outreach target or a product-content fix, routed through a two-step review with brand voice enforced and approved sources required. Ten engines at $295 is the widest coverage at a self-serve price anywhere on this page, and the seats are genuinely unlimited.

AthenaHQ homepage
AthenaHQ leads on agents that see, act and win on AI search.
Key features
  • Ten engines on Starter, including Claude, Grok, DeepSeek, Copilot, Meta AI and both Google surfaces.
  • Content Hub publishes into Shopify, Webflow, Wix, Framer, WordPress and Payload CMS.
  • Unlimited seats with role-based access, and unlimited topics, on every tier.
  • Search Console and GA4 feed prompt discovery and per-row traffic metrics.
Pricing

Essential is free with 300 credits, five engines and $25 of credit. Starter is $295/mo with 3,600 credits, ten engines, CSV export and the Action Center; the subscription covers one website. API access and extra credits are add-ons on top. Enterprise is on quote and adds SAML SSO, audit logs, multi-region tracking and the Citation Engine.

Limitations
  • The plan attaches to a website, so a second brand is a second $295 subscription.
  • Credits are the real ceiling; 3,600 a month is monitoring plus moderate Action Center output.
  • No keyword rank tracking, and no on-page repair after a page is published.

Best for an in-house team on one flagship brand that wants engine breadth, a large logged-in team and drafts that reach the CMS. Not for anyone running a roster of brands, or a team that needs the site fixed after the article lands.

03

SearchableBest for in-house teams and small agencies that need every brand tracked without a per-brand subscription.

Rung 4 of 7From $125/moUnlimited projectsGoogle SEO partial

Searchable is the closest thing here to AthenaHQ without the per-brand bill. Pro is $125 a month for nine engines and unlimited projects and seats, so the second and fifth brands cost nothing extra, and it ships 20 articles a month plus a 200-page site auditor. Like AthenaHQ it connects GA4 and Search Console, so traffic sits beside visibility.

Searchable homepage
Searchable pairs AI search analytics with the actions that follow.
Key features
  • Eight engines on every plan — ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, AI Overviews, Copilot, Gemini, Grok and DeepSeek.
  • Unlimited projects at $125, which is the cheapest multi-brand tracking on this page.
  • 20 AI-optimised articles a month at Professional, 80 at Scale.
  • Site auditor covering 200 pages a month, and a Linear integration for the resulting work.
Pricing

Professional $125/mo: 100 prompts, unlimited projects, 20 articles, 200 page audits. Scale $400/mo: 500 prompts, 80 articles, 1,000 page audits. Seats are not published on either plan. A 14-day free trial runs without a card.

Limitations
  • Articles are produced and handed over; no CMS integration is documented.
  • Seat counts appear nowhere on the pricing page, which makes a team rollout a support question.
  • 100 prompts across unlimited projects thins out fast once several brands share them.

Best for in-house teams and small agencies that need several brands tracked and written for without paying per brand. Not for anyone who needs the article published, or a buyer who wants seat terms in writing before signing.

04

ProfoundBest for one enterprise brand with an analyst to use the depth and a CMS already on the integration list.

Rung 5 of 7From $99/mo1 seat at entryGoogle SEO no

Profound is the most heavily funded company in the category — $96 million at a $1 billion valuation in February 2026 — and the depth shows: prompt-level volume estimates, citation analysis down to the page an engine pulled from, and crawler traffic read off Cloudflare and Fastly. Its Agents draft into ten content systems. It is also the one tool here whose entry plan is narrower than AthenaHQ’s free one.

Profound homepage
Profound now sells marketing agents rather than answer-engine analytics alone.
Key features
  • The deepest citation analysis here, down to the pages an engine actually pulled from.
  • Agent Analytics tracks AI crawler traffic across unlimited domains via Cloudflare, Fastly and Vercel.
  • Agents draft and update entries in ten CMSs, queued for review rather than pushed live.
  • Nine engines on Enterprise, with SSO, SAML and SOC 2 behind them.
Pricing

Starter $99/mo: ChatGPT only, 50 prompts, one seat, one region. Growth $399/mo: three engines, 100 prompts, 400 credits, three seats. Enterprise on quote for nine engines. Agencies pay $99/mo plus $399 for every full client workspace. The full comparison sits on our Profound alternatives page.

Limitations
  • $99 buys ChatGPT alone — AthenaHQ’s free tier covers five engines.
  • No Google organic view anywhere, so rankings and clicks live in a second tool.
  • One language and one region on both self-serve plans.

Best for a single large brand with an analyst who will use the depth and a CMS on the integration list. Not for a team that wants engine breadth cheaply, or one that needs Google in the same report.

05

AIclicksBest for solo consultants who want tracked prompts and drafted articles on the smallest bill on this page.

Rung 4 of 7From $59/moUnlimited sites at $189Google SEO no

AIclicks is the cheapest way onto this page and the cheapest way off a per-brand bill: Pro at $189 a month covers unlimited websites and unlimited countries, which is less than two-thirds of one AthenaHQ website. It tracks prompts, prioritises recommendations and runs a GEO Content Agent that produces 5, 15 or 30 articles a month depending on tier.

AIclicks homepage
AIclicks frames itself around actions and agents rather than dashboards.
Key features
  • Unlimited websites and countries from the $189 Pro plan.
  • 5, 15 or 30 AI-optimised articles a month by tier, from a GEO Content Agent.
  • Choose three models at Starter, four at Pro, six concurrently at Business.
  • A prioritised recommendations tab, and CMS entries in the Pro integrations list.
Pricing

Starter $59/mo: three models, one website, one country, five articles. Pro $189/mo: four models, unlimited websites and countries, 15 articles. Business $499/mo: six models, 30 articles. Enterprise is custom with all models. A three-day free trial runs without a card.

Limitations
  • Seat counts are published nowhere, on any tier.
  • Starter’s one website and one country make it a single-market trial rather than a working plan.
  • Three days is the shortest evaluation window here, against AthenaHQ’s open-ended free tier.

Best for solo consultants and small agencies that want every client site tracked and a stream of drafts for under $200. Not for a team that needs named seats, or a buyer who wants more than three days to decide.

06

Peec AIBest for marketing teams that want exportable AI visibility data and already know what to do with it.

Rung 3 of 7From €85/moUnlimited usersGoogle SEO no

Peec AI is the cleanest analytics product in this category: daily visibility, position, sentiment and citation tracking, unlimited users on every plan, and a Looker Studio connector most rivals never ship. It shipped Brand Perception, AI Shopping analytics, Query Fanouts and Crawl Insights between June and August 2026. Its recommendations name the publications to pitch and the gaps to fill, and the work itself stays with you.

Peec AI homepage
Peec AI sells analytics for marketing teams, and stops there.
Key features
  • Unlimited users on every plan, priced per project rather than per seat.
  • Pick any three models from ChatGPT, AI Mode, AI Overviews, Copilot, Perplexity and Gemini.
  • Looker Studio connector from Advanced, with API, MCP and SSO on Enterprise.
  • Take Action recommendations naming sources, publications and content gaps.
Pricing

Monthly list is €85 Starter, €205 Pro and €425 Advanced, dropping to €70, €180 and €360 on annual billing. A fourth model is an add-on at €30, €70 or €140 a month by tier. Projects run one, two and five. Our Peec AI alternatives page covers the tier ladder in full.

Limitations
  • The only tool here that produces nothing — no briefs, no drafts, no pages.
  • Three models included at every self-serve tier, against AthenaHQ’s ten.
  • Priced per project, so a third brand is a third line on the invoice.

Best for marketing teams that want the cleanest read on where they stand and have writers ready to act on it. Not for a team hoping the tool will close the gaps it finds, or one that needs more than three engines.

07

LLM PulseBest for small teams that want five engines tracked weekly and a handful of drafts at the lowest entry price here.

Rung 4 of 7From €49/moUnlimited seatsGoogle SEO no

LLM Pulse has the lowest entry price on this page and an unusually honest pricing page behind it: two separate price books, one for weekly tracking and one for daily, with the daily figures roughly double. Five engines are included on every tier rather than reserved for the top one, and seats are unlimited, so a whole team can log in for €49.

LLM Pulse homepage
LLM Pulse names four engines on its homepage; the other four are paid add-ons.
Key features
  • Five engines on every tier: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Mode, AI Overviews and Gemini.
  • Unlimited seats from the €49 entry plan.
  • GEO Writer Tasks metered at three, five or 15 a month by tier.
Pricing

Weekly tracking runs €49 Starter, €99 Growth, €299 Scale, €599 Scale+ and €1,199 Scale++ on monthly billing. Daily tracking runs €79, €149, €449, €899 and €1,899. Annual billing takes 17% off both books. Starter covers one project and 50 prompts. A 14-day free trial is included.

Limitations
  • Claude, Copilot, Grok, DeepSeek and Alexa are paid add-ons on top of the plan price.
  • Daily tracking nearly doubles the bill, and weekly is the default the price is quoted at.
  • Three writer tasks a month at Starter is a sample rather than a content operation.

Best for small teams that want five engines and a whole-team login at the lowest price here, with a few drafts attached. Not for anyone needing daily tracking on a budget, or a real content pipeline.

08

GoodieBest for single-brand enterprise teams that want a content studio sitting beside the tracking.

Rung 4 of 7From $399/mo3 engines at entryGoogle SEO partial

Goodie sells the full AEO stack to single-brand enterprise teams, and its named customers — Dermalogica, SteelSeries, Rathbones — are the kind of accounts that buy it. Its Content Studio generates content in the brand’s voice and Optimization Actions rank what to fix. Three engines at $399 is the thinnest coverage-per-dollar on this page.

Goodie homepage
Goodie claims the full AEO stack rather than one step of it.
Key features
  • Content Studio generating AI-optimised content that holds a defined brand voice.
  • Optimization Actions ranking what to fix across owned and earned assets.
  • Eleven models on Enterprise, including Claude, AI Mode, Meta AI, DeepSeek and Grok.
Pricing

Explorer is $399/mo for three engines — ChatGPT, AI Overviews and Perplexity — one brand and three seats. Pro adds Gemini, Copilot, Rufus and Sparky for seven models, one brand and five seats, and is unpriced. Enterprise reaches eleven models with multi-brand packages, also unpriced. A seven-day trial is offered.

Limitations
  • Three engines at $399 against AthenaHQ’s ten at $295.
  • One brand included even on Pro, so multi-brand is an Enterprise conversation.
  • No CMS is named anywhere on the site, so where the generated content goes is unclear.

Best for single-brand enterprise teams that want a content studio and a fix playbook from one vendor with references to call. Not for anyone comparing engines per dollar, or a team that needs a second brand.

09

EvertuneBest for advertisers pairing AI visibility measurement with ChatGPT ad campaigns inside one platform.

Rung 4 of 7From $800/mo11 models trackedGoogle SEO no

Evertune tracks eleven models against 100,000 prompts and then does something nothing else here does: its Act module sets up ChatGPT ad campaigns beside the organic visibility work. Roku, WPP and Athenahealth are named customers, and a $15 million Series A sits behind it. At $800 a month it anchors the top of this page and is the only entry with no self-serve route in.

Evertune homepage
Evertune runs from earned visibility through to paid retargeting in a single platform.
Key features
  • Eleven AI models tracked against 100,000 prompts on the Pro plan.
  • The Act module creates content and configures ChatGPT advertising campaigns.
  • 25 AI-optimised articles a month included at Pro.
Pricing

Pro is published at $800/mo and is demo-gated: the price is on the pricing page, the signup is not. Enterprise is on quote. Seat counts are not published on either plan, and there is no free trial or free tier of any kind.

Limitations
  • $800 is 2.7 times AthenaHQ’s Starter, with no self-serve signup at any tier.
  • No free trial and no free tier, so evaluation runs through a sales call.
  • Content is produced but not published, and no CMS integration is documented.

Best for advertisers who want AI visibility measurement and ChatGPT ad buying handled by one vendor at enterprise scale. Not for a team that wants to try before buying, or one comparing cost per tracked brand.

Best by job

Marketing teams running more than one brand

Amadora AI. Unlimited brands and seats from $179 a month on one bill. Every per-website, per-project and per-workspace tool here becomes the largest line in the software budget around brand three.

One flagship brand and a large team

AthenaHQ. Unlimited seats with role-based access, ten engines at $295 and drafts that reach the CMS. If the brand count stays at one, the per-website unit never bites and the coverage is the best on this page.

The lowest cost per tracked brand

Searchable or AIclicks. Searchable covers unlimited projects at $125 with nine engines; AIclicks covers unlimited websites and countries at $189 with four. Neither publishes, and both are a third of what a three-brand AthenaHQ roster costs.

When AthenaHQ is still the right choice

  • You need ten answer engines on one self-serve contract — Claude, Grok, DeepSeek, Copilot, Meta AI and both Google surfaces among them — which we do not cover at any tier.
  • Your whole company needs a login. Unlimited seats with role-based access at $295 has no equivalent here at that price, and our unlimited seats start at $179 with three engines.
  • You sell on Shopify and want product titles, descriptions, metadata and FAQs generated and published back to the catalogue. Catalog Optimization has no counterpart on this page, ours included.

The execution ladder

The execution ladder is seven steps from measuring an AI visibility problem to proving it was fixed: measure, diagnose, plan, produce, publish, fix, prove. Engine counts and prompt limits miss the thing it captures, which is how much work lands back on your team. Every platform here climbs the same seven steps and each stops somewhere.

The seven execution rungs and which of the listed tools reach each one

Scroll the table sideways

Rung placements reflect what each vendor documents publicly, re-read 28 August 2026. AthenaHQ moves from 4 to 5: its integrations documentation groups Shopify, Webflow, Wix, Framer, WordPress and Payload CMS under a heading called Create & Publish, and describes them as publishing content created in Athena directly to your live site. Peec reaches rung 3 through the recommendations its own documentation describes, and is the only tool here that produces nothing. Goodie generates content but names no CMS anywhere on its site, so it stops at 4.

Producing content stopped being a differentiator this year — eight of these nine write something, and Peec is the only holdout. Publishing is close behind: AthenaHQ reaches six content systems and Profound ten, so the old line about trackers being unable to execute no longer describes this category. What is left sits above the publish rung. No other tool here repairs internal links or applies on-page work and schema after a page has gone live, and seven of the nine cannot see Google at all. AthenaHQ and Searchable read Search Console for clicks and impressions; neither reports a keyword position, so the ranking half of the report still arrives from somewhere else.

Migrating off AthenaHQ

Your prompt set carries over in full. Starter includes CSV export, so the tracked prompts and their history download in one file and paste straight in, and the competitor list moves the same way. Visibility scores do not transfer in either direction, because each vendor samples a different number of responses per prompt and scores them differently enough that the two lines would not be comparable. Anything AthenaHQ already published stays where it is — it lives in your WordPress or Webflow install, not in Athena.

Expect first data within twenty-four hours of adding a domain and a usable trend line at about two weeks. Two details make the timing easier than most switches here. There is no annual contract to strand: AthenaHQ’s monthly toggle is the default and the annual discount is optional, so a subscriber can leave at the end of a cycle. And because the plan attaches to a website rather than the organisation, a multi-brand team can move one brand at a time and cancel that website’s subscription without touching the others.

Common questions

How much does AthenaHQ cost?

AthenaHQ Starter is $295 a month for ten engines, 3,600 credits and unlimited seats (vendor plans page, August 2026). Essential is free with 300 credits and five engines, and Enterprise is on quote. An annual toggle advertises 17% off without printing a figure, and API access and extra credits are add-ons billed on top.

Does AthenaHQ have a free trial?

No time-limited trial of Starter. What AthenaHQ offers instead is a genuinely free Essential tier: 300 credits, $25 of free credit, five engines and unlimited members, with no expiry advertised. That is enough to see your visibility across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot and AI Overviews before spending anything.

Does AthenaHQ publish content to my CMS?

Yes, into six: Shopify, Webflow, Wix, Framer, WordPress and Payload CMS. Articles built in the Content Hub open a publish dialog where you pick the collection or category, review the mapped fields and choose draft or live. WordPress posts can also be updated in place after publishing.

What is the best AthenaHQ alternative for agencies?

Amadora AI, on the billing unit alone: unlimited client brands and unlimited seats from $179 a month, against $295 per website at AthenaHQ. A five-brand roster is $179 with us and $1,475 there. Searchable is the cheaper middle path at $125 for unlimited projects, if drafts that stop short of the CMS are enough.

Which AthenaHQ alternatives track Google rankings too?

Amadora AI reports Google organic movement beside AI answers in one week-over-week report. AthenaHQ, Searchable and Goodie all read Search Console, so clicks, impressions and attribution sit next to each content row, but none of them tracks keyword positions. Profound, AIclicks, Peec AI, LLM Pulse and Evertune see no Google data at all.

Can I move my prompts off AthenaHQ?

Yes. Starter includes CSV export, so the tracked prompt set and its history download in one file and paste into Amadora AI, Peec AI or most others. Competitor lists move the same way. Visibility scores do not transfer, because every vendor samples a different number of responses per prompt.
