9 Best Conductor Alternatives in 2026 for Enterprise AEO Teams
The nine Conductor alternatives worth looking at are Amadora AI, BrightEdge, Search Atlas, Adobe Brand Visibility, Semrush, Writesonic, Clearscope, Quattr and Conductor itself. Conductor, the enterprise AEO and SEO platform, tracks nine AI search surfaces from Grok to Google AI Mode and watches up to 500,000 pages around the clock on its Growth plan. The friction is planning around it. It names three plans and prints no price on any of them, only Essentials can be tried, and AI tracking runs on 2,500 credits a year — about 48 prompts checked weekly in ChatGPT.

All nine, side by side
Nine tools on the five things that decide a Conductor evaluation: whether a price is published, engines included at entry, brands and seats, how far each carries the work, and whether it sees Google. Four of the nine publish no price and five do, so more than half of this list can be budgeted before a call.

Prices are monthly list, read off each vendor's own pages between 31 August and 28 September 2026. Conductor, BrightEdge, Adobe and Quattr publish no price at any tier, so their cells say so. Amadora AI is our product.
Why teams leave Conductor
Teams leave Conductor over planning, rarely over data. Its pricing page lists Essentials, Growth and Enterprise with their allowances and removes every figure, so a budget line starts with a sales call. Only Essentials can be tried, for three weeks; Growth, the plan with 500,000 monitored pages and Adobe Analytics, goes to a demo. And every allowance is counted by the year: 60 Writing Assistant drafts on Essentials and 180 on Growth, plus 2,500 AI search credits on both. Those credits are spent per response at nine different rates, from 0.1 for AI Overviews to 2 for Gemini or ChatGPT’s search mode, so the same balance tracks roughly 48 ChatGPT prompts weekly or a handful across every engine.
The second reason is what happens after the recommendation. Conductor’s documentation says Writing Assistant “doesn’t publish content” and leaves review and publishing to the CMS. Internal links are suggested on every plan and placed by hand. Its agents triage technical issues “with guided recommendations”. So the draft, the link and the fix all leave Conductor as work for your team.
How we compared
Every fact here comes from the vendor’s own pages. Conductor was read on 28 September 2026, including its documentation and release notes; BrightEdge, Adobe and Quattr on 25 September; Search Atlas on 24 September; Clearscope and Writesonic on 14 September and spot-checked on 28 September; Semrush’s USD pricing on 31 August, inside our ninety-day cycle. Where a vendor’s documentation and its marketing page disagree, as Conductor’s do on engines, we publish the documentation.
Amadora AI is our product and it ranks first here. Its entry follows the same shape as every other one, limitations included, and each competitor links to its own site so the figures can be checked. A wider set of tools sits in our roundup of the top LLM monitoring tools.
The nine alternatives, ranked
Ranked for the buyer currently evaluating Conductor: an enterprise or large mid-market team that wants AI visibility beside its rankings, wants the work done rather than listed, and wants to know the cost before committing. Execution weighs heavily, and so do a published price and a trial.
01
Amadora AI — Best for enterprise and mid-market teams that want AI visibility produced, published and proved on a plan they can price and trial today.
Our productRung 7 of 7From $99/mo3 days free, no cardGoogle SEO included
Amadora AI runs a brand’s prompts daily against the live ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini interfaces and names the sources each answer trusted. It then produces the work that closes the gap — briefs, drafts, landing pages — ships approved changes into the CMS, and repairs internal links and schema. Search Console and GA4 connect, so the ranking and the AI answer arrive in one report.
Amadora AI leads on finding why a client is not cited, then shipping the fix.
Key features
Publishes to WordPress and Webflow directly, other platforms via plugin, API and MCP.
Agents place internal links and apply on-page changes and schema, approval-gated and reversible.
Google and AI Overviews included from Pro, beside ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini.
Search Console and GA4 connect, putting rankings and AI answers in one view.
Pricing
Three plans on Amadora AI’s pricing page, billed monthly. Starter $99/mo: 20 prompts, 15 articles, one seat. Pro $299/mo: 100 prompts, 30 articles, five seats. Growth $799/mo: 300 prompts, 120 articles, three projects, unlimited seats. Two months free on annual billing; three days free, no card.
Limitations
No round-the-clock monitoring of a site at Conductor’s 500,000-page scale.
Reads Search Console and GA4, not Adobe Analytics.
AI Mode, Grok, Copilot and Claude are paid add-ons, not included.
Best for a team that wants the whole loop on a plan it can price and trial this week, with the AI number beside the Google number. Not the right call if a very large site needs watching around the clock, or if the analytics stack is Adobe.
02
Conductor — Best for global organisations that want AI visibility, content and round-the-clock monitoring of a very large site from one enterprise vendor.
Rung 4 of 7No published price2,500 AI credits a yearGoogle SEO yes
Conductor is an enterprise AEO and SEO platform in four products: Creator for content, Intelligence for AI and search reporting, Monitoring for site health, and AgentStack for its MCP server, API and agents. It tracks nine AI search surfaces, says it collects them through each engine’s official API wherever one exists, and holds SOC 2, ISO 42001 and ISO 27001.
Conductor puts an AI Search Performance dashboard on the homepage and the price behind a demo.
Key features
Nine AI surfaces on one credit meter, Grok and Claude included.
Monitoring of up to 500,000 pages around the clock on Growth, with alerts grouped into incidents.
Writing Assistant drafts, scores and suggests internal links; its MCP connector drafts in an AI client, in beta.
Adobe Analytics and single sign-on from Growth; role-based permissions on Enterprise.
Pricing
Essentials, Growth and Enterprise, with no figure on any of them. Essentials carries 60 drafts and 2,500 AI search credits a year, 500 tracked keywords and three websites; Growth raises drafts to 180, keywords to 5,000 and websites to five, with the same 2,500 credits. Only Essentials has a trial.
Limitations
No published price at any plan, so budgeting starts with a call.
Nothing publishes: drafts leave Writing Assistant for your CMS, and links are recommended rather than placed.
2,500 AI credits a year is about 48 ChatGPT prompts checked weekly.
Best for a global organisation that wants AI visibility, content and monitoring of a very large site from one certified vendor. Not for a team that wants the fixes applied, or a monthly allowance it can scale without a call.
03
BrightEdge — Best for enterprise SEO teams that want internal links and schema changed on a large site without a developer ticket.
Rung 7 of 7No published price5 AI engines namedGoogle SEO yes
BrightEdge is Conductor’s closest match as a company — an enterprise SEO suite with a decade of data — and it has gone much further into execution. Site Agent builds internal links and Schema Agent deploys JSON-LD in what BrightEdge calls Agent Mode: the tool makes the change and reports what it did. AI Catalyst’s charts pin to the same dashboards as its rank reporting. We cover it in depth on the BrightEdge alternatives page.
BrightEdge sells one unified platform across Google, AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity.
Key features
Internal links and JSON-LD changed automatically; titles, meta titles and H1s pushed at Approve.
Agent Edge serves verified AI agents a lighter page at the CDN; people and Googlebot see the original.
AI Catalyst for mentions, citations and sentiment across five named engines.
ISO 42001 and ISO 27001 certified, with GA4, Adobe Analytics and Search Console integrations.
Pricing
Nothing is published. The pricing URL returns a 404, every product page ends at “Request a Demo”, and no trial is offered anywhere on the site. Agents are added to an existing contract through customer success.
Agent Edge needs CDN access and IT sessions before its first change.
Best for an enterprise SEO team that likes Conductor’s shape but wants links and schema changed on the site rather than recommended. Not for a team leaving Conductor because it could not see a price.
04
Search Atlas — Best for teams that want OTTO applying on-page and technical fixes to a live site at a published price with a seven-day trial.
Rung 6 of 7From $99/mo7-day trialGoogle SEO yes
Search Atlas is the self-serve opposite of Conductor’s buying model. Its OTTO agent ships on-page and technical fixes to the live site through Cloudflare, a CMS or a code pipeline — titles, schema, canonical URLs, broken links, headings, alt text and internal links — with an optional approval mode. Every price is on the page and every tier below Agency can be trialled for seven days. We cover it in depth on the Search Atlas alternatives page.
Search Atlas sells the whole loop: run the marketing, then fix what breaks overnight.
Key features
OTTO applies technical and on-page fixes to the live site, with an approval mode.
A full SEO suite around it: rank tracking, site audit, Google Business Profile and local.
“Connect and publish to any CMS” on every tier, including the $99 Starter.
Pricing
Starter $99/mo, Growth $199, Pro $399, Agency from $999, billed monthly; annual billing takes 20% off. AI visibility starts on Growth with ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Mode, and 100 queries; Pro adds Copilot and Perplexity at the same 100.
Limitations
No AI visibility at all on the $99 Starter.
AI visibility is one capped module inside a large SEO platform.
No Claude or Grok at any tier.
Best for a team that wants Conductor’s breadth of SEO tooling with fixes applied, at a published price with a trial. Not for an enterprise that needs ISO-certified governance and a named account team.
05
Adobe Brand Visibility — Best for enterprises already on Adobe Experience Cloud that want AI-facing fixes deployed at the CDN without a release cycle.
Rung 6 of 7No published priceTrial for Adobe customersGoogle SEO yes
Adobe Brand Visibility, renamed this year from Adobe LLM Optimizer, is the natural alternative for a Conductor customer whose analytics already run on Adobe. Optimize at Edge serves AI-friendly changes to LLM user agents at the CDN, works with any CMS, and rolls back in one click.
Adobe renamed LLM Optimizer to Brand Visibility and bundles Semrush entitlements.
Key features
Optimize at Edge applies summaries, FAQs and tables of contents for AI agents at the CDN.
CDN- and CMS-agnostic, with setup guides for Fastly, Akamai, Cloudflare and CloudFront.
One-click rollback that reverts a page in minutes.
Semrush entitlements bundled, covering the Google side of the report.
Pricing
No tiers or prices are published; it is licensed by prompts per year, the same annual shape as Conductor’s credits. AEM Cloud, Adobe Analytics and Customer Journey Analytics customers can start a free trial, which Adobe’s Quick Start caps at 100 prompts and one domain.
Limitations
No published price, and the trial is open only to existing Adobe customers.
Routing sits at the outer CDN, so outside AEM’s managed Fastly it needs the IT team.
Edge changes reach AI agents only; the page people and Google read is unchanged.
Best for an enterprise already inside Adobe Experience Cloud that wants AI-facing fixes live without a release cycle. Not for a team outside the Adobe estate, which cannot trial it.
06
Semrush — Best for SEO teams that want the deepest keyword and backlink research with a daily AI visibility number beside it.
Rung 3 of 7From $199/mo50 prompts dailyGoogle SEO yes
Semrush is the research suite most Conductor buyers already use somewhere in the team, and on keyword and backlink depth nothing here matches it. AI visibility sits inside its plan structure from the $199 Starter tier, beside position tracking, site audit and keyword research, and its prompts are counted per day rather than per year. It reports and plans; the work it identifies is left to the team.
Semrush, now an Adobe company, sells visibility across every channel.
Key features
The deepest keyword and backlink research on this page.
AI visibility across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot and Google surfaces.
50 prompts tracked daily on Starter, 100 on Pro+ and 200 on Advanced.
An AI-ready site audit and MCP access from Starter.
Pricing
SEO $139/mo carries no AI tracking. Starter $199/mo, or $165.17 annually, is the first plan with it, and covers one domain for AI brand performance. Pro+ $299, Advanced $549. Extra users start at $45/mo, and three of the four plans can be tried free.
Limitations
One domain for AI brand performance at entry.
Nothing is produced, published or applied to the site.
Seats are charged separately.
Best for a team that wants research depth first and a daily AI number at a published price. Not for anyone leaving Conductor for execution, which Semrush does not do.
07
Writesonic — Best for content teams that want tracking, AI articles and site audits on a published plan, with finished posts pushed to WordPress.
Rung 5 of 7From $99/mo15 AI articles a monthGoogle SEO partial
Writesonic started as an AI writer and now sells AI visibility with the writing attached. It tracks ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews on every published plan, writes a monthly allowance of AI articles, and pushes finished posts to a live WordPress site through its plugin, creating a new post or overwriting an existing one. Where Conductor’s drafts stop in the editor, Writesonic’s reach the site.
Writesonic sells the before-and-after of AI visibility rather than the measurement.
Key features
Publishes to WordPress with status, date, tags and author set in the dialog.
AI articles every month: 15 on Starter, 25 on Basic, 50 on Growth.
Site audits on every plan, from 10 a month at 100 pages each.
A capped Action Center trial on Growth, full on Enterprise.
Pricing
Starter $99/mo, Basic $249, Growth $499, billed monthly; the page opens on annual billing at $79, $199 and $399. Enterprise is quoted and tracks ten engines. A free start with no card, and a seven-day refund.
Limitations
Three engines on every published plan; the other seven are Enterprise only.
One seat at entry, and extra seats are capped.
Search Console connects, but no rank tracker is documented.
Best for a content team that wants AI articles written and published to WordPress at a price it can read. Not for an enterprise that needs Conductor’s engine coverage or site monitoring.
08
Clearscope — Best for editorial teams that want the Writing Assistant job done at a published monthly price, with every writer on one account.
Rung 4 of 7From $129/mo14-day trialGoogle SEO yes
Clearscope does the job of Conductor’s Writing Assistant as a product of its own, and it is the content grade many editorial teams standardise on. It grades drafts against the search results, builds outlines and full drafts, and tracks prompts in AI answers. Every plan has unlimited users and unlimited projects, billed monthly with no contract, so the whole editorial team can be on one account from day one.
Clearscope puts ChatGPT beside Google in the headline; its pages disagree on engines.
Key features
Content grading and Draft with AI, built from a live search-results analysis.
Content Inventory prints Search Console positions per page, with a striking-distance view.
A WordPress plugin and Google Docs add-on that load recommendations into the editor.
Unlimited users and projects on every plan.
Pricing
Essentials $129/mo: 50 tracked prompts, 50 pages, 20 drafts a month. Business $399/mo: 300 prompts and pages, 20 drafts. Enterprise is custom. Monthly billing only, no contract, and a fourteen-day trial on every plan.
Limitations
Its pricing page names two engines; its product pages add Claude.
Nothing publishes: recommendations load into the editor and stop there.
No site monitoring or technical alerting.
Best for an editorial team that used Conductor mainly for Writing Assistant and wants that job at a published monthly price. Not for a team that needs engine coverage or site health.
09
Quattr — Best for large sites that want drafts handed into the CMS and internal linking deployed with a vendor concierge.
Rung 5 of 7No published price4 engines prompted dailyGoogle SEO yes
Quattr puts Google and AI answers in one platform and carries a page from keyword to CMS, which is the step Conductor leaves out. Its Content AI hands a draft into the CMS with an author assigned for the owner to publish, and its internal-linking browse modules go live with an assigned SEO concierge. ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Mode are prompted daily.
Quattr leads with Google and Perplexity, and an agent named GIGA.
Key features
Drafts land in the CMS with an author assigned; WordPress is the example shown.
Internal-linking modules built and deployed with a vendor concierge, at large-site scale.
Search Console, GA4, Adobe Analytics and Google Ads connected for revenue reporting.
A Search-to-Revenue agent ties rankings to configured goals.
Pricing
Nothing is published. The pricing page is a booking form offering a 30-minute call, with “Free trial included” beside it and no trial length stated. No tier names, seat counts or allowances appear anywhere on the site, which is less than Conductor prints.
Limitations
No published price or tiers.
Much of the linking work runs through Quattr’s concierge rather than your team.
A far smaller company than Conductor, which matters for a long commitment.
Best for a large site that wants drafts and internal links handled with a vendor alongside, and Adobe Analytics in the report. Not for a team that wants to run the platform alone.
Best by job
Pricing and trialling the full loop before a sales call
Amadora AI. Tracking, drafts, CMS publishing, link and schema repair and the Google report on published monthly plans, with three days free and no card. Pro at $299 adds Google and AI Overviews to ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini.
Automated SEO fixes at a published price
Search Atlas. OTTO applies titles, schema, broken links and internal links to the live site from $99 a month, with a seven-day trial. It is the nearest self-serve equivalent to an enterprise SEO suite that acts.
Content grading for a whole editorial team
Clearscope. Grading, outlines and drafts from $129 a month with unlimited users and no contract, and a fourteen-day trial. It covers the Writing Assistant job without Conductor’s annual draft count.
When Conductor is still the right choice
Your site runs to hundreds of thousands of pages and needs watching around the clock, with alerts on content and compliance changes. Conductor Monitoring does that on Growth; we audit, but watch no site at that scale.
Your analytics are Adobe Analytics and procurement wants single sign-on, role-based permissions and SOC 2, ISO 42001 and ISO 27001 from one vendor. Conductor clears that list; our SSO is on the custom agency Enterprise plan only.
You want AI answers collected through each engine’s official API, across nine surfaces including Grok and Claude out of one budget. Conductor collects that way; we query the live interfaces a user sees, and Grok and Claude are add-ons.
The execution ladder
The execution ladder is seven steps from measuring an AI visibility problem to proving it was fixed: measure, diagnose, plan, produce, publish, fix, prove. Engine counts and credit balances miss the thing it captures, which is how much work lands back on your team. Every platform here climbs the same seven steps and each stops somewhere.

Rung placements reflect what each vendor documents publicly, read between 14 and 28 September 2026. Conductor stays at 4: its Writing Assistant FAQ says the tool "doesn't publish content", and internal links are recommendations on every plan. Search Atlas is published at 6, as on every page in this cluster.
Conductor stops at rung 4, and so does Clearscope; Semrush stops at 3. Six of the nine publish into a CMS or at the CDN, four change the live site, and BrightEdge reaches rung 7 beside us, so what divides this page is where the change lands and how you buy it: BrightEdge and Adobe act inside enterprise contracts, while Search Atlas, Writesonic and Amadora AI act on published plans. Eight of the nine report a Google position, and two put it in the same report as the AI answer.
Migrating off Conductor
Conductor’s AI Search Performance report downloads as a table with the full response text and every fan-out query the engine ran, so export it before the contract ends; it is the only record of what each engine said. Keyword lists, competitor sets and prompts carry over by export and paste, and saved views rebuild in under an hour. Expect first data within twenty-four hours of adding a domain and a usable trend line at about two weeks. Historical visibility data does not transfer between vendors, because each samples and scores differently.
Two parts of Conductor need a plan. Monitoring watches the site continuously and keeps alert history and change-tracking audit trails, which stay behind; decide which alerts need an equivalent, and whether another monitor is needed at all at your page count. Writing Assistant drafts and content profiles live in Conductor, so move unfinished drafts into the CMS. Conductor sells annual allowances, so run the replacement in parallel through the final quarter and switch at renewal.
Common questions
−
How much does Conductor cost?
Conductor publishes no price. Its pricing page names Essentials, Growth and Enterprise with allowances for each and a figure on none of them (vendor site, September 2026). It describes the model as usage-based, "built around the value you get, not the seats you buy", and its documentation says plans scale in features and pre-set usage. A number takes a demo or a sales call.
+
Does Conductor have a free trial?
Yes, on Essentials only. Conductor offers a three-week free trial with no credit card, while its Growth plan asks for a demo and Enterprise for a sales call. Among the alternatives here, Amadora AI runs three days free with no card, Search Atlas seven days, Clearscope fourteen, and Adobe offers a trial to existing Adobe customers.
+
Which AI engines does Conductor track?
Conductor tracks nine AI search surfaces: ChatGPT in Auto and Search modes, Claude Sonnet, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Grok, Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity, per its AI Search FAQ (September 2026). Every plan draws on the same list. Each response costs a different number of credits, from 0.1 for AI Mode to 2 for Gemini.
+
How far do 2,500 Conductor AI search credits go?
At Conductor's published rates, 2,500 credits a year checks about 48 prompts once a week in ChatGPT, where each response costs one credit. Adding Gemini at two credits a response roughly triples the cost of each prompt. Essentials and Growth carry the same 2,500, and Conductor blocks new prompts once the balance runs out.
+
Does Conductor publish content to my CMS?
No. Conductor's own documentation says Writing Assistant "doesn't publish content", and review and publishing happen in your CMS. Its Drupal module shows Writing Assistant insights inside the Drupal editor, and its WordPress plugin triggers audits. Internal links are recommended on every plan. Amadora AI, Search Atlas, Writesonic and BrightEdge push changes into a CMS.
+
Can I migrate off Conductor?
Yes. Conductor exports its AI search tables with the full response text and fan-out queries, and keyword and competitor lists move by export and paste. Rebuilding a prompt set takes under an hour. Historical visibility data does not transfer between vendors, and neither does Monitoring's alert history.
