9 Best Rankability Alternatives in 2026 for Agencies and SEO Teams
The nine Rankability alternatives worth looking at are Amadora AI, Search Atlas, SE Ranking, Writesonic, Semrush, Clearscope, Goodie, Evertune and Rankability itself. Rankability withholds almost nothing by tier: briefs, AI drafting, WordPress and Webflow publishing, GitHub pull requests, client portals, local-grid and video tracking, API and MCP access are all included on the $199 Core plan, and seats are unlimited everywhere with no per-seat charge. What the money buys instead is capacity — three projects, 75 daily prompts and three AI platforms at Core, so a fourth client or a Gemini report costs a whole tier.

All nine, side by side
Nine tools on the five things that decide a Rankability evaluation: entry price, engines included at that price, brands and seats, how far each carries the work, and whether it reports Google alongside. The brands column matters most here, because every tool on this page meters client work somehow and they disagree about the unit.

Prices come from each vendor's own pricing page, read on 31 August 2026, and are monthly list. Amadora AI is our product. Semrush and Search Atlas both show their annual figure first; the cells above carry the monthly one.
Why teams leave Rankability
Teams leave Rankability over capacity rather than capability, which is an unusual complaint in this category. Its plan table is one of the shortest arguments in the cluster: every row reads Included on all three tiers. Content briefs, AI-assisted drafting, on-page optimisation, technical and page-level audits, organic rank tracking, AI mentions and citations, local-grid and video visibility, WordPress and Webflow publishing, GitHub pull requests, approval workflows, client portals, API access and hosted MCP all ship on the $199 Core plan, and seats are unlimited with no per-seat charge anywhere. Almost nothing in this comparison is that generous on features at the bottom of its range.
The metering is where it bites. Core carries three projects, 75 daily prompts and three AI platforms. A fourth client does not cost an add-on; it costs $399. Ten clients cost $399 and twenty-six cost $799, which is defensible arithmetic until you set it beside SE Ranking at $129 for ten projects. The platform ladder compounds it: Perplexity and Google AI Overviews arrive at $399, and Gemini — the engine most likely to come up in a client meeting — waits for the $799 Agency plan. So the agency that fits Rankability is a specific one: a small team, more writers than budget, three or four brands, and no client asking about Gemini yet.
How we compared
We read every vendor’s own pricing page on 31 August 2026 for prices, seats, engine coverage and plan limits, and each vendor’s documentation for what it does with the work it produces. Two of them display the annual figure first with the monthly one greyed beside it, so the cells above were read from the monthly state. Rankability’s own page opens on monthly, which is rarer than it should be.
Amadora AI is our product and it ranks first here. Its entry follows the same shape as every other, limitations included, and every tool name links to its own site so you can check the figures. A wider set sits in our roundup of LLM monitoring tools.
The nine alternatives, ranked
Ranked for the buyer currently evaluating Rankability: an agency or in-house SEO team that wants briefs, drafts and rankings in one place, and is working out what the client count will cost.
01
Amadora AI — Best for agencies whose client count keeps outgrowing a project allowance and who need the work published and proved.
Our productRung 7 of 7From $59/moUnlimited brands from $179Google SEO included
Amadora runs a brand’s prompts daily against the live ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini interfaces rather than APIs, and names the competitor owning the sources each answer trusted. It produces the work that closes the gap — audits, briefs, drafts, landing pages — ships approved changes into the CMS, and reports what moved beside Google rankings.
Amadora leads on finding why a client is not cited, then shipping the fix.
Key features
Unlimited brands and seats from $179, so client count never moves you up a tier.
Publishes to WordPress and Webflow directly, other platforms via plugin, API and MCP.
Agents repair internal links and apply on-page changes and schema, approval-gated and reversible.
Search Console connects, so rankings sit beside AI answers in one report.
Pricing
Three tiers on Amadora’s pricing page. Starter $59/mo: 15 prompts, one brand, 300 credits. Professional $179/mo: 100 prompts, unlimited brands and seats, 1,000 credits. Agency $499/mo adds white-label, workspaces and API on 3,000 credits. Credits price the deliverables — 200 an audit, 40 a draft, 20 a brief.
Limitations
No local-grid visibility and no video tracking, both of which Rankability includes at $199.
A thinner content-scoring model than Clearscope’s or Rankability’s, which grade a draft in more detail.
Credits are consumed by deliverables, so a heavy content month needs a top-up.
Best for agencies whose client count keeps colliding with a project allowance, and who are measured on published work rather than on the dashboard. Not the right call if local-pack or video visibility is central, or if the content score itself is the product you are buying.
02
Rankability — Best for small agencies that want every feature on the cheapest plan and can work inside three projects.
Rung 5 of 7From $199/moUnlimited seatsGoogle SEO yes
Rankability rebuilt its pricing this year, dropping the per-active-client-website model for three flat tiers, and the shape it landed on is unusual: nothing is withheld by tier. Briefs, drafting, audits, rank tracking, AI citations, publishing and client portals are all on the $199 plan, and unlimited seats mean a team of eight costs what a team of one does.
Rankability aims its homepage at agencies, and bills by the client website behind it.
Key features
Unlimited seats on every tier, stated on the pricing page as no per-seat charges.
WordPress publishing, Webflow publishing and GitHub pull requests, with approval workflows, on all three plans.
Local-grid and video visibility tracked beside organic rankings and AI citations.
Client portals, shareable reports, API access and hosted MCP included from Core.
Pricing
Core $199/mo, or $166 billed annually, with three projects, 75 daily prompts and three platforms. Team $399/mo, or $332, with ten projects, 150 prompts and Perplexity and AI Overviews added. Agency $799/mo, or $666, with 25 projects, 250 prompts and eight surfaces. No free trial is published.
Limitations
Three projects at $199 — the worst per-project rate here at entry, against ten at $129.
Gemini is Agency-only at $799, and Perplexity waits for $399.
The audit names what is hurting AI visibility without applying any of it, and no trial exists.
Best for a small agency with more writers than budget, three or four brands, and no client asking about Gemini. Not for a growing roster, where projects rather than people become the cost that keeps moving.
03
Search Atlas — Best for agencies that want on-page work and technical fixes applied automatically rather than listed.
Rung 6 of 7From $99/moAI visibility from $199Google SEO yes
Search Atlas is the one tool here besides ours that applies the fix rather than listing it. OTTO runs technical corrections, on-page improvements and content on its own across the sites you connect, and publishing is native on every tier. The trade is the entry plan: $99 buys OTTO and CMS publishing but no AI visibility at all.
Search Atlas sells the whole loop: run the marketing, then fix what breaks overnight.
Key features
OTTO applies technical and on-page fixes automatically across connected sites.
Universal and Automatic CMS publishing on every tier, including the $99 one.
One Universal Credits meter across AI visibility, content, SEO execution and ads.
White-label reporting, client dashboards and a custom domain from Pro at $399.
Pricing
Starter $99/mo with one OTTO project and one seat. Growth $199/mo adds three AI platforms and three seats. Pro $399/mo adds Copilot and Perplexity for five, plus white label and five seats. Agency $999/mo carries ten OTTO projects and ten seats. Credits run 50,000 to 1,000,000+, and a 7-day trial includes an onboarding call.
Limitations
No AI visibility on the $99 tier at all — it starts at $199, which is the real entry price.
One OTTO project at $99 and two at $199, so a client roster moves you up quickly.
Credits are a single meter across everything, so a heavy ads month eats the AI visibility budget.
Best for an agency that wants the work applied to client sites automatically and will pay $199 for the tier where the AI half switches on. Not for anyone budgeting from the advertised $99, which buys a different product.
04
SE Ranking — Best for agencies that need ten client projects and Google reporting on the smallest possible bill.
Rung 5 of 7From $129/mo10 projects includedGoogle SEO yes
SE Ranking is the direct answer to Rankability’s project limit: ten projects at $129 against three at $199, with five AI surfaces from the entry plan rather than three. It tracks Google positions properly, briefs and drafts content, and publishes it to WordPress. The catch is who gets a login.
SE Ranking sells SEO, GEO and social in one cross-channel view.
Key features
Ten projects on Core and thirty on Growth, the best per-project rate on this page.
ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, AI Overviews and AI Mode from Core, with 100 prompts daily.
Content Editor briefs, AI Writer drafts, and the WordPress integration publishes live.
A $69 Agency Pack adds ten client seats, white-label reporting and the Lead Generator.
Pricing
Core $129/mo, or $103.20 billed annually, with one manager seat and ten projects. Growth is $279/mo with three seats and thirty projects. The Agency Pack is $69/mo and the API $39, both on annual billing only. A 14-day trial runs without a card.
Limitations
One manager seat at Core, where Rankability gives unlimited seats at every tier.
Client seats and the API are annual-billing-only add-ons, so a monthly team cannot buy them.
Citation and source analysis is thin next to the GEO-native tools, and nothing is applied to the site.
Best for an agency counting clients rather than colleagues, which is most of them — the SE Ranking alternatives page works through the seat arithmetic. Not for a team that needs many logins on monthly billing.
05
Writesonic — Best for content teams producing at volume that can work inside three tracked engines and one market.
Rung 5 of 7From $99/mo3 engines below EnterpriseGoogle SEO partial
Writesonic buys more finished output per dollar than anything else here: 50 articles a month and 50 site audits at 2,500 pages each on Growth, with its own plugin pushing the finished post into a live WordPress site. Coverage is where it stops — the engine list does not move until Enterprise.
Writesonic sells the before-and-after of AI visibility rather than the measurement.
Key features
15, 25 or 50 AI articles a month by tier, plus 10 to 50 site audits.
WordPress publishing through its own plugin: new post or overwrite, with status, tags and author.
AI bot analytics from Cloudflare, Vercel, Fastly or a custom log drain, on every tier.
Search Console, Google SERPs and Keyword Planner feed the SEO half.
Pricing
Starter $99/mo, Basic $249 and Growth $499, each 20% cheaper billed annually at $79, $199 and $399. Starter tracks 50 prompts on one project with one seat; Growth tracks 200 across two projects with three. Extra seats are $50/mo up to five. Enterprise is quoted and is the only tier tracking all ten platforms.
Limitations
Three engines and one market on every published tier — the other seven need a quote.
No Action Center below Growth, and five on-page and five off-page actions a month there.
One project at $99 and two at $499, against three at Rankability’s $199.
Best for a content team producing at volume on one brand in one market — the Writesonic alternatives page covers where that ceiling sits. Not for an agency comparing engines or client capacity per dollar.
06
Semrush — Best for teams already paying for Semrush that want the AI number beside the rankings they already report.
Rung 3 of 7From $139/moAI tracking from $199Google SEO yes
Semrush is the incumbent most of this page is measured against, and it folded AI visibility into its existing plans rather than selling it separately. The fine print matters: the $139 SEO tier lists AI tracking among the things it does not include, so the AI half starts at $199.
Semrush, now an Adobe company, sells visibility across every channel.
Key features
The classic toolkit alongside: position tracking, site audit, keyword and competitor research.
AI visibility from $199 — 50 prompts daily, 300 AI visibility reports a day, AI-ready site audit.
Content optimisation and keyword cannibalisation analysis from Pro+ at $299.
MCP access from the Starter tier, and API data integration on Advanced.
Pricing
SEO $139/mo has no AI search tracking. Starter $199/mo adds 50 prompts a day and one domain for AI brand performance. Pro+ $299/mo covers 100 prompts and 15 websites; Advanced $549/mo covers 200 and 40. Annual billing saves up to 17%. Additional users start at $45/mo.
Limitations
One domain for AI brand performance at $199, so an agency prices by client domain.
Seats are charged separately, where Rankability charges for none.
Nothing is produced or published — it reports and plans, and stops there.
Best for a team already inside Semrush that wants the AI number in the report it already sends, with no new vendor and no new login. Not for an agency covering many client domains, and not for anyone who needs the work made.
07
Clearscope — Best for content teams that want the strictest content scoring and unlimited colleagues in the tool.
Rung 4 of 7From $129/moUnlimited users and projectsGoogle SEO yes
Clearscope grades a draft more strictly than anything else here, which is the whole product. It is also the only tool on this page besides Rankability with no seat or project limit at all: unlimited users and unlimited projects on every tier, metered instead by tracked prompts and pages.
Clearscope puts ChatGPT beside Google in the headline; its tracking covers two engines.
Key features
Unlimited users and unlimited projects on every tier, including the $129 one.
The strictest content grading model in this comparison, with topic explorations attached.
50 tracked prompts and 50 pages on Essentials, rising to 300 of each on Business.
20 monthly drafts on both paid tiers, with extra pages at $25 or $15 a month.
Pricing
Essentials $129/mo and Business $399/mo, with Enterprise on quote for custom credits, SSO and crawler whitelisting. Business adds a dedicated account manager and lifts topic explorations from 20 to 50. A 14-day free trial runs without a contract.
Limitations
ChatGPT and Gemini only, the narrowest engine coverage on this page at any price.
20 drafts a month on both paid tiers — the ceiling does not move when the price triples.
Nothing is published; the graded draft leaves as a file.
Best for a content team whose bottleneck is draft quality rather than coverage, with more editors than budget. Not for an agency reporting on AI visibility, where two engines will not carry a client conversation.
08
Goodie — Best for a single enterprise brand that wants research, monitoring and a fixed monthly quota of actions.
Rung 4 of 7From $399/mo1 brand includedGoogle SEO partial
Goodie sells one closed loop rather than a feature list: research a category’s prompts, monitor the answers, spend action credits on the fixes, and attribute revenue through Google Analytics. Credits meter everything — ten a month on Explorer, 30 on Pro, 60 or more on Enterprise.
Goodie claims the full AEO stack rather than one step of it.
Key features
Every action type on every tier: content writer, blog generation, outreach, technical agent, llms.txt and sitemap repair.
Revenue attribution through Google Analytics, with Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools alongside.
Agent and crawler analytics, showing how AI bots read the site.
MCP server access on all three plans, with a full API on Enterprise.
Pricing
Explorer is $399/mo with a 7-day free trial: 100 prompts, 3,000 AI responses a month, ten optimisation actions, ten tracked pages, two countries, two languages and three seats. Pro and Enterprise carry no published price and go through a demo.
Limitations
One brand on Explorer and one on Pro, so a second brand means an Enterprise conversation.
Three engines at $399, the narrowest coverage per dollar on this page.
The site connections below Enterprise are Analytics, Search Console and Bing, all read-only.
Best for a single enterprise brand that wants a fixed monthly quota of actions with revenue attached. Not for agency work, where one brand per plan ends the conversation immediately.
09
Evertune — Best for advertisers that want category-scale measurement and an AI ad buy in the same contract.
Rung 4 of 7From $800/mo100,000 prompts trackedGoogle SEO no
Evertune measures at a scale nothing else here attempts: 100,000 prompts across 11 AI models on its published Pro tier, with global language and country tracking rather than the single market most of this list includes. It straddles measurement and paid media, which is why advertisers rather than agencies end up on it.
Evertune runs from earned visibility through to paid retargeting in a single platform.
Key features
100,000 prompts tracked across 11 AI models, at daily, weekly or monthly frequency.
Global language and country tracking on the published tier, not as an upgrade.
25 AI-optimised articles a month, plus affiliate advertising partnerships and AI retargeting.
Three dedicated onboarding sessions included on Pro.
Pricing
Pro is $800/mo, published but demo-gated — there is no self-serve signup and no free trial. Enterprise is on quote and adds unlimited content generation, AI website optimisation, AI bot analytics for your domain and SSO. Seat counts are published on neither tier.
Limitations
$800 is the floor, four times Rankability’s Core plan for no publishing at all.
No free trial and no self-serve signup; every route starts with a demo.
No Google organic view, and no seat count published on either plan.
Best for an advertiser that wants category-scale measurement and an AI ad buy on one contract. Not for an agency, and not for anyone who needs to try the product before buying it.
Best by job
Agencies past their third client brand
Amadora AI or SE Ranking. Unlimited brands from $179 with us, or ten projects at $129 there. Rankability’s Core plan is the better tool per project and the worse deal per client.
Wanting the fixes applied, not listed
Search Atlas. OTTO runs technical corrections and on-page work on connected sites by itself. Budget from $199 rather than the advertised $99, which carries no AI visibility.
Grading drafts rather than tracking brands
Clearscope. The strictest content scoring here, with unlimited users and projects at $129. Two engines will not carry an AI visibility report, so pair it with something else.
When Rankability is still the right choice
You need local-grid and video visibility beside organic rankings. Both are included on its $199 plan and we track neither at any price.
You have more colleagues than clients. Unlimited seats with no per-seat charge on every tier beats our $59 Starter the moment a third person needs a login.
You want every feature on the cheapest plan. Nothing on this page withholds less by tier — publishing, client portals, API and MCP all ship at Core, where most rivals gate at least one of them.
The execution ladder
The execution ladder is seven steps from measuring an AI visibility problem to proving it was fixed: measure, diagnose, plan, produce, publish, fix, prove. Engine counts and project limits miss the thing it captures, which is how much work lands back on your team. Every platform here climbs the same seven steps and each stops somewhere.

Scroll the table sideways →
Rung placements reflect what each vendor documents publicly, read on 31 August 2026. Rankability sits at 5 on its own plan table, which lists WordPress publishing, Webflow publishing, GitHub pull requests and approval workflows as included on all three tiers. It stops below 6 because its audits name what is hurting visibility without applying any of it. Search Atlas is the one peer that reaches 6: OTTO is documented as running technical fixes and on-page improvements on its own. Its own rung 7 claim needs a trial account to confirm and is not asserted here. Semrush is the one tool that stops at 3 — it reports and plans, and nothing it produces is written for you.
This is the most execution-heavy peer set in the cluster: five of the nine get a finished page onto a live site, where most pages here manage two. Rung 6 is not ours alone either — Search Atlas reaches it through OTTO, which applies technical and on-page work without being asked. What separates the top of the ladder is narrower than it used to be, and it is mostly about the last step: reporting week-over-week movement in AI answers and Google rankings in the same place, rather than in two exports that somebody staples together.
Migrating off Rankability
Your prompt and keyword lists carry over in full — export them and paste them in, or let us generate a fresh set from the brand’s site and competitors and compare the two. Project configuration and competitor sets move the same way. Anything already published through WordPress, Webflow or a GitHub pull request stays exactly where it is, in your CMS or your repository rather than theirs, which makes Rankability one of the cleaner tools on this page to leave. Historical visibility data does not transfer in either direction, because each vendor samples engines and scores mentions differently enough that the numbers would not be comparable.
Expect first data within twenty-four hours of adding a domain and a usable trend line at about two weeks. Two things shape the timing. Rankability publishes no trial, so any evaluation of it was already paid for, and its annual billing is 17% cheaper, which makes a mid-term switch more expensive than it looks. The clean sequence is to run one brand in parallel for a fortnight, compare what each says about the same twenty-five prompts, and move the roster at renewal.
Common questions
−
How much does Rankability cost?
Rankability publishes three tiers: Core $199/month, Team $399 and Agency $799, each 17% cheaper billed annually at $166, $332 and $666 (vendor pricing page, August 2026). Monthly is the page's default toggle. Seats are unlimited on every plan, and the metered units are projects — 3, 10 and 25 — and daily prompts, at 75, 150 and 250.
+
Does Rankability have a free trial?
No trial is published anywhere on its pricing page. The three self-serve tiers go straight to a Get started button and larger plans go through a call. Among the alternatives here, SE Ranking and Clearscope both run 14 days without a card, and Search Atlas runs seven with an onboarding session included.
+
Which AI engines does Rankability track?
Three at Core — ChatGPT, Google AI Mode and Claude. Team at $399 adds Google AI Overviews and Perplexity, and Agency at $799 adds Gemini, Grok and Microsoft Copilot for eight surfaces in total. Gemini is the notable one: it arrives only on the most expensive plan, where SE Ranking includes it at $129.
+
What is the best Rankability alternative for agencies?
Amadora AI, on the metered unit: unlimited client brands and unlimited seats from $179/month, against three projects at $199. SE Ranking is the cheaper like-for-like at $129 for ten projects, though only one manager seat. Search Atlas is the choice if you want the fixes applied rather than recommended.
+
Does Rankability publish content to my CMS?
Yes, on every tier including Core. WordPress publishing, Webflow publishing, GitHub pull requests and approval workflows are all listed as included on all three plans, so a brief can become a draft and then a live page without leaving the tool. What it does not do is apply on-page fixes across an existing site.
+
Can I move my projects off Rankability?
Yes. Prompt and keyword lists export and paste into Amadora AI and most others, and anything already published through WordPress, Webflow or a pull request stays in your own repository or CMS. Historical visibility data does not transfer, because each vendor samples engines and scores mentions differently.
